Amiss Yet Breathing

Possibility brewing

Work abuzz

Packed day of inspiration

Relaxed at home

Taste of wine on my lips

Witnessing the setting sun

The only light for ages

Being my prayers to the moon

Yet here it is

Now I hear it
Now I see

Where have I been

My eyes heavy clouded

Today seeing again

The stirrings always there

Unable to reach my heart in months

Bird chirps and whistles

Forest alive and breathing

Turning into the breeze

Caressing my face

Bright yellow flower

Quivers on the wind

Nature weaving her fingers

Through my hair

Bare naked feet to the earth

Realizing for the first time

Since you’ve gone

Not a tear was shed today
